2. Principle
This website is designed for data minimisation. No cookies are set, no tracking is used, and no third-party fonts or scripts are loaded from servers outside our own infrastructure. Fonts (Inter, JetBrains Mono) are served exclusively from this domain.
If you switch between light and dark display mode, your browser stores that preference locally in Local Storage. This information is not transmitted to us and is not used for recognition or analytics.
3. Server log data
When you access this website, the hosting provider automatically records information transmitted by your browser. This includes: IP address, date and time of access, transferred data volume, browser type and operating system, and referrer URL.
This data is processed to ensure operation, defend against attacks, and troubleshoot errors. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the stable and secure operation of the website). 5. Contact form and email
If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the information you provide, in particular your name, email address, optional phone number, selected category, message content, and language. The contact form additionally processes date and time, IP address, and user agent so that abuse can be limited, errors can be traced, and the request can be assigned correctly.
The IP address is also processed for server-side rate limiting for up to 15 minutes.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry concerns the initiation or performance of a contract. Otherwise, the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is responding to enquiries, operating the contact form securely, and preventing abuse.
Contact-form enquiries are forwarded by Gmail to our Gmail inbox and processed there. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; processing by Google LLC in the USA or on servers outside the EU cannot be ruled out. Enquiries are stored until processing has been completed and then generally for no more than 12 months. The home page displays live Bitcoin network data (the most recently mined blocks). This data is fetched server-side from mempool.space, a free open-source service. Your browser does not contact mempool.space directly for this display — the data is retrieved on our server, cached, and then delivered to your browser.
